Mike Petzer is an internationally recognized author and teacher. Having been in ministry for over 35 years, Mike has served in various pastoral roles, authored 7 books, planted 3 churches and raised up pastors. He earned his Doctor of Theology from Global Theological University in 2011.
Mike’s passion is to communicate the power of the unquestionable success of the finished work of Christ in all of its facets. He is currently engaged in writing commentaries on Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians. His next work entitled, The First Century Gospel will be released in 2024.
Mike joined full-time staff with Overland Missions in February 2023 and serves the many bases of Overland Missions by teaching and training the staff, local pastors and national missionaries. His burden is keeping Christ and what He has done as the center and focus in all things.
Mike treasures time with his family. He and his beautiful wife of 32 years have two adult sons - Drew and Kirk. When he is not ministering around the world, Mike calls Bakersfield, CA home.
